Gibraltar Airport

The British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar is served by a civilian airport, Gibraltar Airport. It is located just 500 metres from Gibraltar's city centre and flights operate from the airport to the United Kingdom and Spain only. Gibraltar Airport is used by visitors heading to the western edge of the Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz as well as those visiting Gibraltar itself.

Gibraltar boasts many attractions including beaches, marinas and its Moorish Castle. Due to all its goods and services being VAT free, Gibraltar is also a popular shopping destination and has many branches and franchises of British high street chains. However, the top tourist attraction in Gibraltar is widely considered to be the Barbary Macaques, a type of monkey.
