The Aquitaine region in France is due to host a new, all-natural music festival this summer.
Les escapades musicales gets underway on May 8th and is due to run until July 24th, according to regional tourism organisation Tourisme Aquitaine.
The tourism body adds that Les escapades musicales is "the most natural of festivals", making use of the planet's own music venues along the Bay of Arcachon.
Among them is Arcachon beach itself, the venue for the first concert as an orchestra sets up directly on the sand.
The music of Haydn, Mozart and Bartok is due to be played by the orchestral ensemble, adding a cultural touch to any sunshine holiday taking place there.
Following the performance, a further nine are scheduled to take place in different locations - the first time the Bay of Carcachon has hosted a major music festival.
Aquitaine's scenery is protected by a number of different organisations, with its Atlantic coastline governed by inter-ministerial group MIACA.
