Towns across the US are not ready to give up on British boy magician Harry Potter even as the last volume of his adventures will be released later this month.
To keep the Harry Potter craze going, fans will be spoilt for choice the main one being the soon-to-be-realised Harry Potter themed amusement park set to open in Orlando, Florida in two years time.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the seventh volume in the series, will be released at midnight July 21st and will be the last instalment in the wizard's adventures, according to its author JK Rowling.
But towns in the US are not ready to give up on the added benefits of Hogwarts mania. Baraboo in Wisconsin, for example, held a Potter celebration on the July 7th that was popular enough to have organisers planning for an annual event.
The small town of Princeton in Illinois almost doubled its population when its own celebration drew in thousands of visitors.
"Keeping some kind of celebration going here is a good possibility.
"It's been such a fun way to expose people to our downtown," said Lisa Putness president of the Princeton Independent Business Alliance.
"I think fans will be even more eager to get together for events since there won't be book releases too look forward to," said Brian Simms who has founded a fan site and is a keen player of an earthbound version of Quidditch.
