The Northern Territory tourism body in Australia will launch a campaign to warn tourists not to take alcohol in Aboriginal land, ABC news reported on Monday.
The campaign is launched as new rules regarding alcohol restrictions are set to come into effect in Aboriginal lands.
Although initially a full ban of alcohol in the Territory was planned, but tourists will now be allowed to bring in alcohol as long as they are part of an organized tourist group.
But the ban will still be in effect for individual tourists.
"There's been a lot of publicity about this issue, I think the visitors are going to be very open and caring and be very mindful that this is probably a positive thing for the people that it's affecting," he said.
The ban was inspired by a report named 'The Little Children are Sacred' which made a link between alcohol and reported abuse.
