Travel insurance which covers damage to property could be a wise buy for Brits planning to get married abroad in 2009.
And those searching for the perfect spot could find Austria ideal for their big day.
Managing director at Weddings & Honeymoons Abroad Nick Gropper commented that Brits looking for a traditional white wedding could find that Austria offers ceremonies "closer to British tradition" than other places.

When getting hitched aboard, Brits could be worried about expensive items such as wedding gowns or rings getting damaged or lost, which could make getting comprehensive travel insurance a wise choice.
Mr Gropper points out that getting hitched abroad is more accessible now as it is much cheaper.
Figures from wedding website Marry Abroad show that Europe is the most popular place for people to get married overseas.
