Mr Lewis from Yately has had
motorcycle insurance with the same provider for the last 70 years, showing that the principle of loyalty is still alive in the UK.
The 86-year-old gentleman has been with Devitt Insurance for the last seven decades, having bought his first bike in 1939 - an Ariel 350 which he had for two years.
Mr Lewis has been a life-long biker and currently owns a Yamaha 250, while his two sons are also avid motorcyclists.
William Hughes, managing director of Devitt Insurance, said: "It's great to see an example of someone who has been biking for most of their life. This really supports our Keep Britain Biking campaign, which aims to encourage more people to enjoy the benefits of life on two wheels."
However, the number of registrations for new motorcycles fell in July in comparison to the same month last year.
Figures from the Motorcycle Industry Association showed that there were 10,465 new registrations in total in the UK last month.
