Consumers planning a backpacking trip to New Zealand may find they are able to travel on a budget more easily following the launch of a new campervan.
Tourism Holdings is due to make available the Breezer, which with a minimum drive age of 18 is likely to appeal to those planning gap year travel in the region.
According to the firm, "the Breezer comes complete with roof racks, great storage capacity, an mp3 player and air conditioning in the driver's cabin".
Those wishing to reduce their carbon footprint may also be interested to learn that the vehicle meets strict low-emission standards set out by a leading automobile testing company, VTNZ.
During December, the Breezer will be launched at a rate of NZ$84 (£31) per day.
Established attractions in the country include the Te Papa National Museum and the Fox Glacier.
