The B1257 stretch between Helmsley and Stokesley will be the target of a campaign by authorities to make drivers aware of the dangers of speed driving, local Yorkshire paper the Press has reported.
The event will take place on July 28th and will draw police agencies from two districts as well as local emergency services.
Yorkshire Ambulance service and North Yorkshire County Council's road safety section will also be taking part.
The stretch of road is considered one of the most dangerous in Yorkshire due to a series of fatal accidents in the last few years, which have usually involved motorcyclists.
Members of the police and emergency services will try to raise awareness of the speed limits along the B1257 in order to help prevent future accidents.
The event is part of '95 Alive', a think-tank that aims to save 95 lives on the roads of North Yorkshire by 2010.
"We hope that by taking action, we can reduce the number of collisions and raise the safety of the road for its users," said PC Terry Triffitt to the Press.
