One homeowner from Slough may have been unnecessarily paying
car insurance for a vehicle found buried in her garden by council officials sent to clear the dense undergrowth.
While it is important to make sure a car has adequate car insurance to be on the road, Annis Dodd's Ford Escort looks like it has not be driven for a number of years.
According to reports, the council was called to Ms Dodd's home, which she shares with her son, after she failed to act on a notice ordering her to clear her garden.
Council workers were shocked to discover a silver Ford Escort lurking beneath the grass in her overgrown back garden - as well as several household items and a carpet.
Ms Dodds was later prosecuted.
The leader of the clean-up team Sarah Hines Randall said that the court action should "hopefully send out a clear message" to homeowners that they need to keep their gardens clear.
