Scottish holidaygoers may be interested in a new deal which aims to open up low cost travel from the country and the islands.
An agreement has been reached between Loganair and Flybe.com to adapt a low cost business model to bring cheap flights to those living in the region.
Loganair chairman Scott Grier told the BBC: "The air service networks of both airlines are complementary and this deal will give our customers a greater choice of UK and European connections."
The deal will come in to effect when the current contract with British Airways ends on October 26th.
However, those planning winter breaks when the new agreement is introduced are advised to prepare before they go.
