As celebrations continue for the 60th anniversary of the Commonwealth, one newspaper has commented that there may be "no better way" of marking it than taking a trip to a Commonwealth country.
And while travelling to one of the 53 member states may be simpler for British tourists,
holiday insurance is still an essential buy to protect against any problems.
The Daily Mail has compiled a list of places in the Commonwealth which it believes "should make every reader's travel wish list".
It notes that excitement-hungry Brits may want to consider a trip to Australia or Canada.
Brits who want a Mediterranean break with a British vibe could look at Malta, the newspaper notes.
"Its varied 7,000 year history means visitors aren't short of places of interest to visit and the Fontanella Tea Rooms are a great place to stop off and relax with a slice of their famous chocolate cake," the Daily Mail advises.
Other countries in the Commonwealth include Gambia, Cyprus, India and Kenya.
