The weakening of the pound in recent years has meant many holidaymakers have opted against trips abroad, even in popular eurozone destinations like Spain and France.
Indeed, many Brits preferred a staycation to a vacation last year to avoid the cost of changing currency.
Taking a holiday outside the eurozone is one way to avoid heightened prices, according to Meri Matesic, director at the Croatian National Tourist Office, who believes a break in Croatia represents great value for money.
She said that holidaying out of eurozone for British travellers became particularly popular during the last two years.
The country's national currency is the kuna and Ms Matesic believes the destination is now popular among British holidaymakers.
"Croatia is still more affordable than other European destinations - [for] food and beverages, accommodation, sightseeing etc - and so visitors enjoy a good sense of value for money," she said.
