New and improved transport links make Croatia a good long-term property investment, it has been suggested.
Andrea Marston, general manager of Investment Group Croatia, said that properties in central Dalmatia - from Split to Zadar Riviera - were looking more appealing to foreign investors at the moment as prices were still relatively low when compared to other areas.
She also pointed out that tourism is "growing massively" in the country.
Ms Marston said that there were areas of the Croatian coast that had been quite inaccessible in the past and this had previously put people off visiting but that this was starting to change.
"Now that you can fly there much easier and there is a motorway connecting it to central Europe, more people are seeing it as a good long-term investment," she said.
According to Ms Marston, the new motorway is encouraging a lot more German, Austrian and Czech tourists to visit the areas.
