Those people visiting Croatia on their holidays are increasingly satisfied with their experience of the country, according to In Your Pocket.
Visnja Arambasesc, editor of In Your Pocket's guide to Croatia, has said that there is a growing cultural tourism industry within the country that is attracting a growing number of people each year.
"People are more and more satisfied ... a lot of people visit the country as there are a lot of castles around, as well as nature and domestic food," she said.
She pointed also to a rich historical atmosphere and an exciting city life in the capital Zagreb that were both proving attractive for those planning their holidays.
Concerts and other cultural interests and heritage events were also proving popular, she concluded.
Officical tourism statistics from the country suggest that there were 558,493 tourists in Croatia between January and March 2008 up 14 per cent from 489,542 during the same period in 2007.
