Airline operator easyJet has announced a new service that will reward customers making frequent trips abroad with discounts and other benefits.

The easyJet Plus membership card will allow regular flyers unlimited access to its Speedy Boarding service, without prior reservation.

In the future, the company also plans to extend the offers available with discounts on car hire and hotels, with the operator predicting that those signing up to the service will begin to see savings after just five trips abroad.

Peter Gerstle, easyJet product development manager, said: "easyJet Plus means passengers will receive discounted Speedy Boarding every time they fly, saving them both time and money."

Founded in 1995, easyJet aims to reduce the costs of flying by removing by allowing people to book online and operating flights from airports in an efficient manner.

For those frequent flyers looking for travel insurance, InsureandGo's annual travel insurance cover avoids the hassle of taking out numerous policies.
