Mr Marr advised that before investing, people may want to see previous work undertaken by the developer or seek "some sort of reassurance" on what the finished building is going to look like.
In terms of areas, he said that Marsa Alam has "great properties at great prices".
He also noted that the holiday sector is "on the up" in the Red Sea area.
