The Fiat 500 has won the Best City Car title at this year's BusinessCar Awards.
In just its second year on sale in the UK, the Fiat 500 has continued to rack up the awards with this win, retaining its title as the publication also voted it Best City Car 2009.
The award's judges all praised the vehicle's looks, efficiency and excellent residual values, claiming these were the main areas that had impressed consumers over the last 12 months.
Paul Barker, editor of the magazine, commented: "Fiat looks like it's now secured this category for the long term, with the 500 comfortably taking the win for the second year in a row. It's a winning formula."
Elsewhere, the Volkswagen Golf was recently named BusinessCar's Business Car of the Year 2010.
Vincent Kinner, head of Volkswagen fleet services, noted the award is particularly pleasing to the company as it is voted for by the readership of the magazine, meaning the vehicle is a popular choice among motorists.
