Homeowners reeling from the damage done to their properties in the recent floods could be eligible for a rebate on their council tax.
Scotland's Perth and Kinross Council is urging residents to get in touch if they have had property affected by the recent spate of bad weather.
Properties that are likely to qualify for the rebate are; unoccupied homes, those undergoing major repair work to render them habitable, no more than 12 months have elapsed since it was last occupied or no more than six months have gone by since the repairs were made.
Councillor Ian Miller, deputy leader of Perth and Kinross Council, said: "We would encourage flood victims whose homes have been damaged to contact us.
"We have already had several enquiries about tax relief from victims of the recent floods and those are being processed."
Homeowners living in other areas are encouraged to contact their local council to see if they are eligible for council tax relief.
