Christopher Chadd, head of research at Property Frontiers, said there are excellent opportunities for buyers in Florida at present, as the market has probably fallen as low as it will go.
He commented: "When the recession hit, Florida's real estate market was undoubtedly the worst affected. This means prices for real estate in the area have absolutely hit rock bottom."
Mr Chadd added now that the market has begun strengthening again, there really has never been a better time to invest in Floridian property.
According to the latest Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices, property prices in Miami remained steady in November after a 0.4 per cent fall in October and they decreased by 12.1 per cent in the past year.
