This May will see the Annual International Folklore Festival come to Lithuania.
In what will be the 34th event of its kind, the festival will take place in Vilinus, the capital of Lithuania, and will see folk groups gathered from all across Europe and Asia.
Folk fans should travel to the festival to see the concerts and performances that will be taking place in the main city squares, including Cathedral Square and Vilinus University's Alumnato courtyards.
Solo artists, as well as great ensembles, will be present at this year's festival, which will take place between May 23rd and 27th.
The festival, known as 'Skamba skamba kankliai' in Lithuania, has been taking place since 1973.
Vilinus is to become the European Capital of Culture in 2009.
