Football fans are being offered the opportunity to join legend of the game Pele on a cruise next year, reports the Telegraph.
The seven-night Brazilian-themed cruise will sail from Venice on June 28th 2009 and will call at various ports in Italy, Croatia and Greece. The voyage will offer those on board the chance to see musical shows as well as attend football seminars.
A number of European footballers will join Pele on the trip, as well as presidents of football confederations, clubs and federations, says Costa Cruises.
Those not so soccer mad are also catered for on the trip, which will feature performances from Brazilian entertainers such as Alexandre Pires, Toquinho and Grupo Sereno.
According to the Telegraph, prices for the trip start at around £1,259.
In related news, it was recently announced that the next Royal Caribbean cruise ship, the Oasis of the Seas, will have a nursery as the line tries to cater more to the family market, according to USA Today.
