For Brits looking to buy a holiday home abroad, getting
travel insurance, booking flights and viewing houses can be a time-consuming experience.
However, should they choose to buy a home in France, people can at least be reassured that when the deal is done their investment will be safe.
Patrick Joseph, founder and director of my-french-house.com, said that France was seen as the safest place to buy property.
"Buying a property in France is a safe investment and an investment that you can enjoy as well," he commented, going on to point out that the country's proximity to the UK was a plus for tourists.
Mr Joseph said that France was a "very special place" which could give visitors "the whole package".
Taking regular trips abroad to a holiday home could make a travel insurance policy which covers a long period a good investment for holidaymakers.
