Pet owners in Norfolk might wish to take advantage of a cut-price microchipping service being offered by Norwich's Giant Pet Store early next month.
Individuals who wish to have their animals tagged in this way can do so by visiting the store on Saturday June 6th and paying £10 for the service as part of National Microchipping Month.
Television vet Marc Abraham commented: "It's such a quick and easy process that ensures if your dog goes missing, every step will be taken to ensure that they can be reunited with you."
In addition, newly appointed Norwich lord mayor Eve Collinshaw will also be in attendance on the day.
Meanwhile, Janet Nunn, chief executive of Pet Care Trust, recently argued that rises in the costs of owning an animal in the UK could lead to pet ownership becoming unaffordable for individuals and families on lower incomes.
Pet insurance from
InsureandGo offers peace of mind that medical costs will be covered.
