The French Riviera Tourist Board has revealed why it believes the region is ideal place to visit if you like to live the high life and enjoy luxurious surroundings.
The French Riviera receives around ten million visitors a year and boasts a selection of high-end hotels and luxury bed and breakfasts.
Florence Lecointre, international press officer for the French Riviera Tourist Board, said that the region offers a lot in the way of luxury.
"In terms of the accommodation we have around 16 five-star hotels around the French Riviera ... We have also luxury bed and breakfasts located in the internal land of the Riviera," she commented.
Nice is the largest city in the region and Ms Lecointre added that the city offers great weather all year round and its location makes it easy to visit other famous locations such as Cannes and Monaco.
