The first full day of service since last year's fire ran on Eurostar yesterday (February 24th)
Last September, the tunnel was damaged by fire after a lorry on a freight train set ablaze.
The incident saw thousands of passengers stranded, a reminder of how important
holiday insurance is on a trip.
Trains have been running on a reduced schedule for some time, but the full timetable is now back in use.
Brits can now travel from London to Brussels in one hour 51 minutes and between London and Paris in two and a quarter hours.
Eurostar is keen to show the ease of travel for those taking business trips, as some services allow people to arrive in France before 09:00 local time.
Richard Brown, chief executive of Eurostar, said: "In challenging economic times, business travellers want the best flexibility, best punctuality and the best environment to work en route."
Holiday insurance from
InsureandGo can cover people travelling to France for business or pleasure.
