The Co-operative Sexy Green Car Show will see the launch of the newest offering from automobile giant Ford: its low-emission Focus ECOnetic.
Billed as the world's foremost green motoring event, the show will feature a range of eco-friendly cars, displayed at the famous Eden Centre in Cornwall.
Using a 1.6 litre diesel engine, the ECOnetic has a 66 miles per gallon fuel efficiency and produces 115g of CO2 per kilometre.
Eden's Gus Grand, the show's executive producer, said: "This is a significant development for The Co-operative Insurance Sexy Green Car Show. The Focus is one of the most recognisable cars on the road and we're very excited to be hosting the launch of the ultra-green version at Eden."
The Focus has seen a significant drop in its emissions output since it was first launched in 1998, with the new sub-120g rate making the car eligible for exemption from London's Congestion Charging Scheme.
Now in its second year, the Eden car show will be held from May 23rd to 31st and will feature current green vehicles as well as concept cars for the future.
