Motorcycle manufacturer Honda has dominated this year's Motor Cycle News survey.
The firm's 2003 Honda CBR600RR was voted the best for build quality with a rating of 93 per cent, while the CBR1100XX Super Blackbird (1997 to present models) were voted the best sports-tourer bikes.
Steve Martindale, general manager of Honda (UK) Motorcycles, commented: "We know that Honda machines have a good reputation for reliability and quality, but it's great to have this reconfirmed and recognised by the people who are really important to us - our customers."
However, Brits looking to purchase a motorbike should remember to take out comprehensive
motorcycle insurance before hitting the roads.
Elsewhere, Honda recently scooped two prizes at the Motor Cycle News Awards.
The company's CBF125 was awarded the Best Machine For New Riders accolade, while the CBR600RR achieved the Best Sportsbike Under 600cc prize.
InsureandGo offers bike insurance for UK motorcyclists.
