Francesca Moore, spokesperson for the website, added that countries like Vietnam, Thailand and America are also top destinations for those planning a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
She added that couples are also becoming more ambitious, with some looking for "an adventure safari in the deepest bush of Africa spotting a lion or two in the morning and then heading back to a luxurious five-star spa retreat for the rest of the day".
