Guests who enjoy spending time in their hotels while on holiday may be in for a tasty treat.
According the USA Today, many major hotels are competing to create improved menus for guests who like spending time in their accommodation's lobbies.
Jody Pennette, from CB5 Restaurant Group, tells the news agency: "The energy they're seeking is that of a cocktail party."
Due to such schemes, travellers who enjoy spending time in the lobby of their accommodation may well find that they are able to enjoy finger food and other small meals such as tapas, gnocchi and cheese boards.
In related hotel news, it was recently announced that the Hilton brand intends to complete a number of renovations and improvements on a range of its facilities during 2008.
