House party causes $75,000 of damage

A party at a house in Fort Myers in Florida caused $75,000 (£51,000) worth of damage, reports claim.

The home, which was unoccupied and had previously been boarded up, is on Rainforest Lane in the area.

According to the Fort Mill Times, every room in the empty house had some sort of damage.

Destruction to the home included broken windows, graffiti and damage to the plaster on the walls.

In total, 17 people were arrested after the incident.

The News Press says that the party was discovered after local residents called the police reporting a break-in at the property.
