The insurance market has seen an increase in the amount of switching that has taken place, price comparison site MoneyExpert has noted.
A study released by the firm today suggests that in the six-month period to October some 15 per cent of adults changed their
car insurance provider and ten per cent swapped their
home insurance policy.
Chief executive of the company Sean Gardner comments that insurance has been "incredibly competitive" for a long time.
"And with online price comparison becoming mainstream for millions of people, it's even more likely that people will be happy to chop and change providers in search of the best deal," he added.
