Picnics on the Piste has announced the launch of its new butler service, which aims to provide a romantic al fresco dining experience on some of Europe's top slopes.
The butlers set up the feasts at the bottom of the piste after first traversing the slopes themselves with the menu in tow.
Menu selections follow the same system as international ski slope difficulty colour ratings - with green being the cheapest and black the most expensive.
All picnic hampers are likely to contain hot soup, cheeses, cured meats, fruit and chocolates, with the top end package also offering foie gras and salad nicoise.
The service is available on selected slopes throughout France, Austria and Switzerland.
Picnics on the Piste will be on offer at Val D'isere when its ski season starts in February.
The French slopes open with The International Criterium of the First Snow on February 2nd.
