A trip to the mountains in Korea is one of a variety of experiences the country offers, but having the right holiday insurance could prove vital should anything go wrong on a trip to the area.

Michael Michael, marketing manager at the Korean Tourism Organisation (KTO), comments that there is "fantastic mountain scenery" on the outskirts of Seoul in South Korea.

Mr Michael points out that April is a good time to visit the area, so holidaymakers have plenty of time to search for flights, hotels and cheap travel insurance deals.

Seoul will hold the Lotus Lantern Festival between April 24th and 26th this year, which is a celebration of the birth of Buddha.

Figures published by the KTO show that tourism in Korea has seen year-on-year growth of five to eight per cent.

According to the organisation, tourism is the biggest industry in the country.

It estimates that by 2010, one billion international tourists will visit the country each year.

Brits planning on taking an exotic trip to visit Seoul could find that travel insurance from InsureandGo offers total peace of mind at a low cost.
