Commercial van users driving in London are getting a helping hand from a new guide to parking in the capital.
The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has launched its new London Van Guide, developed by PIE Enterprises in collaboration with and Transport for London's Freight Unit.
As well as providing information about parking restrictions in the capital, it will also list up-to-date information on parking rules and regulations.
Van drivers will also benefit from safe driving and fuel efficiency tips, while also having access to information on PCN hotspots.
All commercial drivers can benefit from the new guide, not just van drivers, the FTA has said.
"We are all aware of the increasing burden that parking costs are putting on to businesses' bottom line," said Gordon Telling, FTA head of policy for London, the south-east and east of England.
"Whilst there are lots of issues that we are working on with local councils to improve the supply of spaces and fairness of tickets, there is still a need to help drivers who are unfamiliar with parking locations and who get penalised for not having a good local knowledge."
He said that the London Van Guide will put that valuable information "into drivers' hands".
