November is Lung Cancer Month across the UK and as such, people are being advised to stop smoking, while those who do smoke might want to take out comprehensive
life insurance cover.
Dr Richard Gaynor, vice-president of oncology product development and medical affairs at Eli Lilly, noted many people are still relatively unaware of the likelihood of developing lung cancer, despite the disease being one of the country's biggest killers.
"While our work is far from finished, we do have a better understanding of lung cancer today and patients can benefit," said Dr Gaynor.
Denise Armstrong, lifestyle manager for Heart Research UK, recently noted that Britons worried about the health of their hearts should look to take up a healthy lifestyle in order to reduce their risk of developing cardiovascular disease.
She noted that getting plenty of exercise and having a low-fat, low-sugar diet are good ways to keep their heart healthy.
InsureandGo offers life insurance for anyone looking for peace of mind that their loved ones will be provided for after they are gone.
