The luxury cruise sector continues to be popular despite the current recession, it has been claimed.
And to ensure that their cruise is as relaxing as possible, Brits should make sure their
travel insurance covers them for any incidents which may affect their break.
Holiday agency Cruise118 has reported a rise in demand for luxury cruise trips.
According to the firm, more than 100,000 Google searches made each month in the UK are to do with luxury cruises.
Director of Cruise118 James Cole said that this year, people are "looking to indulge" in expensive breaks.
"Holidays remain a priority for many people despite the recession and it's clear that many are still willing to pay for the highest standards of service and accommodation available," he noted.
He said that a cruise was "the perfect opportunity" to indulge.
The Times recently noted that "cruise blogging" is increasingly popular on the internet, as people are choosing to tell others about their holidays.
