A ski resort in Idaho (US) is set to undergo a complete and high-priced makeover in order to attract more clients.
Around £5 million is set to be spent on the Schweitzer ski resort in the locality of Sandpoint in Idaho.
An additional £25 million will be invested in improving the infrastructure of the area, to make access to the resort easier.
"Schweitzer is a great untold secret but the word is starting to get out," revealed Jennifer Fortuner from the local brokerage firm of Sxhweitzer Land & Timber.
One of the main areas of improvement will be the ski lift, named Chair One, which is going to be replaced with the Basin Expres, giving greater access to intermediate terrain.
Another lift, the Lakeview Triple, will give the more experienced skiers and snowboarders access to the South Bowl.
Both lifts are expected to increase capacity at the resort by close to 30 per cent.
