London City Airport will be running more than 100 new British Airways flights from this month, it has been announced.
From March 26th, the airline will start its new BA CityFlyer service from the airport.
The service includes four daily flights each to Glasgow and Zurich.
"London City Airport will be a major focus for us over the next few years. It is an increasingly popular base for customers, easy to use and conveniently located for the growing business districts of Docklands and the City," said Peter Simpson, managing director designate of BA CityFlyer.
Passengers travelling north of the border will also benefit from eight flights a day from City Airport to Edinburgh, while Frankfurt, Madrid and Milan flights will also see increases.
Flights fares start from £39.
