A new report from an insurance provider has shown that more polices are being claimed against incidents of personal liability.

Claims to do with injuries obtained during sport are on the up, reports Money.co.uk, according to research from esure.

According to the report, typical incidents claimed for include golfers who accidentally hit someone with a tee shot and are then sued for causing the other person injury or a footballer sued for hurting another player during a game.

Personal liability insurance is often put together with home contents cover, but esure warns that even though a claim of this type is the rarest it can also be the most serious so people should make certain they have the right sort of protection.
