A new report has found that multi-trip
annual travel insurance policies can offer better value than single trip policies.
The study by Moneysupermarket.com suggests that multi-trip insurance may be particularly cost-effective for families heading to the slopes to enjoy a ski holiday.
Spokesperson Peter Gerrard said: "It pays to shop around, especially if you are travelling more than once a year. There are obvious savings to be made, especially when winter sports cover is included."
He added that it is important to check the level of cover for adventure holidays - particularly for those who plan to go off-piste skiing.
The study searched the
travel insurance market to evaluate premium costs, medical cover, personal liability, cancellation and baggage cover to find the best single and
annual travel policies.
