Motorcycle insurance is important for all those wishing to ride a bike as part of National Motorcycle Week, which is being promoted by the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA) as a way for bike enthusiasts to show their commitment to the pastime.
The event runs from July 12th to 18th and aims to convince people that owning a motorcycle means more freedom, more fun, more convenience and more opportunities.
MCIA spokesperson Sheila Ranger commented: "It is also the time for riders to think about how to get more out of their machine, whether that means planning a biking holiday or taking some training to improve their skills on the road."
She added that this is an important date in the motorcycle calendar as it is an opportunity for the whole motorcycling community to get active.
Figures compiled by the MCIA recently showed that a quarter of all new bike registrations are for 125cc vehicles, prompting the organisation to note that the future looks healthy for the industry, as there remains an influx of learner and younger motorcyclists.
