Taking out
car insurance on a new vehicle may sometimes be expensive, but drivers looking to cut back on fuel costs might be interested in the news that BMW has launched its most fuel-efficient 3 Series model to date.
BMW has unveiled the new BMW 316d ES Saloon, which offers 62.8mpg - one of the best performers in its class - and CO2 emissions of just 118g/km.
The company noted that these figures make the new car the most fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly 3 Series so far. However, the vehicle also boasts good performance statistics, with a top speed of 125mph and can achieve 0-62mph in 10.9 seconds.
It goes on sale in showrooms across the UK from September and will have a price of £23,330 OTR.
