Lapland UK, together with the Forestry Commission, in planning on bringing the spirit of a Lapland Christmas to Kent this year.
The new attraction will also address Green issues by giving local families a chance to experience a carbon neutral Lapland holiday.
It will run for five weeks from November 24th at the 2,000 acre Bedgebury Forest in Goudhurst, Kent.
"Bringing a high quality Christmas experience to this country has been my dream since visiting Lapland with my wife and our four boys in 2002," said the event's creator Mike Battle.
It will include a Father Christmas, real reindeer, husky dogs, Raymond Briggs' 'The Snowman', Hollywood snow and ice special effects, and rocking horse makers to the Queen.
Visitors will also be allowed to create gingerbread, meet Lapland's husky dogs, listen to toy soldiers playing classical Christmas Music and listen to traditional Christmas storytelling.
The whole attraction will take a family about four hours to complete, with timed tickets ensuring that there is a good flow in the visits.
