Art fans planning to visit a new museum in Greece have plenty of time to get good deals on their flights and holiday insurance.

The New Acropolis Museum in Athens is set to open in March, which travel writer for the Telegraph Fred Mawer says sounds spectacular.

He comments that Greece could provide holidaymakers with some good deals this summer.

Booking a holiday in advance could be beneficial to those wanting to shop around for the best deals on flights, hotels and travel insurance cover.

Now could be a great time to secure a deal - Mr Mawer comments that a week in a self-catering flat can be found for around £350 per person.

Several airlines in the UK offer flights to destinations in Greece including Athens, Rhodes, Corfu and Heraklion.

The Telegraph reports that choosing a non-stop flight to Greece could help travellers save money on ferry fares to islands.

Travel insurance from InsureandGo can offer low-cost cover for a trip to Greece or any of its surrounding islands.
