For those that have traveled for more than 20 hours on a coach it may sound like a punishment, but for 38 passengers a new overland trip from London to Sydney is the adventure of a lifetime.
The first OzBus service has just left London on its way to Australia, and over its 12 week duration will cover an amazing 15,000 miles.
The coach will average just 180 miles, allowing plenty of time for sightseeing along the way at some truly amazing locations.
The bus travels through Europe, via Istanbul, through Turkey and then through Iran to Pakistan - this stretch is none stop to reduce the chance of attacks by bandits.
It then takes in India and the wonderful Taj Mahal before stopping and the base camp of Everest and on to China.
The epic journey then continues south, through Malaysia and finally across to Australia, though here passengers take the plane while the coach is shipped over.
The journey finally ends at 17:00 local time on December 9th - just in time for Christmas on Bondi Beach.
