An air steward has become an internet hit after a video of him rapping on a plane was posted on YouTube, it has been reported.
After getting flights,
travel insurance and booking hotels, passengers may have been expecting an average journey when they boarded the domestic flight to Oklahoma City in the US.
But air steward David Holmes made the decision to give the passengers the on-board safety announcement in an unusual way, reports the Telegraph.
The video shows Mr Holmes rapping the safety announcement to passengers, after declaring that the "regular boring announcement" would have put him to sleep after his five-flight working day.
According to the newspaper, the rap was greeted with "a roar of applause" from those on the plane.
He performed lyrics including "if you have a seat on a row with an exit/we're gonna talk to you so you might as well expect it," notes the paper - and believes his performance captured passengers' attention.
"People started getting off the plane and said to me 'that's the first time I have listened to the emergency instructions'," he told the source.
