Ireland is on course to register its highest annual number of visitors ever, the government said earlier this week.
A report indicated that the country was welcoming an increased number of tourists from continental Europe and the USA.
Tourism minister Seamus Brennan told the Associated Press: "As we approach the end of 2007, all the indications are that we will enjoy another record year for Irish tourism."
He added that plans were in place to invest 50 million (£36 million) to market Ireland as a holiday destination next year.
In total, 9,919,900 people visited Ireland at the end of October, already exceeding last year's record volume.
Those planning a trip to the country can visit established attractions such as Trinity College Library, Dublin Zoo and the National Museum of Ireland.
