Britons looking to take out travel insurance and head off on a romantic getaway might be interested in seeing the sights of Seville.

Sunday Times travel expert Richard Green wrote in an opinion piece for the paper that anyone looking for a romantic getaway in Seville might want to stay at one of the many hotels which offer cheap but classy accomodation in the city.

He argued that for £78 per double room per night, couples can stay at Hotel Amadeus, which offers exposed beams, lots of space and even a sunken bath in the suite.

For those who are more interested in modern, chic interior design, Mr Green recommended the Hospes Las Casa del Rey de Baeza, which combines modern influences with clean lines and elegance. Prices start from £180 per room per night.

Carmen Hernandez, market analyst at the Spanish Tourist Office in London, recently argued that many Britons view a visit to Spain as a safe option for their holiday, as many have visited before and are aware of the many home comforts which are available.
