The amount of people putting their second homes up for rent has increased dramatically in recent months, it has been claimed.

Statistics from home rental company Domegos have shown a 157 per cent increase in the number of properties advertised for rent.
Dennis Klett, co-founder and director of Domegos.co.uk, said: "We see more and more people starting to rent out their property who didn't rent out their property previously."
According to the firm, the willingness of Britons to embrace the "staycation" rather than to head off overseas on an expensive holiday will not be a passing fad, but could be a trend we see for many years to come.
The company showed that the number of people taking a domestic break in the last six months has grown by 21 per cent.
