Singapore provides travel experiences to cater for all tastes and budgets, it has been claimed.
Eunice Yeo, area director for northern and western Europe at the Singapore Tourism Board, said the sheer range of attractions on offer in the country and the variety of places to stay means all budgets will be catered for when visiting Singapore.
She commented: "With its mix of Chinese, Indian, Malay and Eurasian nationalities, Singapore is a melting pot of culture and colour."
Ms Yeo added the country has a rich history and old world charm that is overlaid with a veneer of cutting edge technology and modernity.
According to figures released by the Singapore Tourism Board, arrivals to Singapore grew by 17.6 per cent year-on-year in January 2010 to reach 908,000 visitors, the highest level ever recorded in the month.
Furthermore, revenue per available room increased by 9.4 per cent to reach S$150 (£70.17) in January, the first annual growth in 16 months.
